Last Year in Ethiopia

We've been dwelling all week on what an amazing blessing having Elianna Ray in our family is. Our time in Ethiopia, with an extraordinary group of adoptive families, was lifechanging. Thank You, Lord, for All God's Children, for Martha, for Almaz, for all the staff and Special Mothers at Hannah's Hope, for our travelmates and their Ethiopian children (the Schneiders and Hope, the Belchers and Caleb, and the Redmans and Grace), and especially for Ray Ray!

I LOVED looking at these photos! I didn't get any of the shopping experience so it was wonderful to see those. It's amazing to me how ready I am to go back (with sleeping pills).

I think we should DEFINITELY get our kids together. Yes, they may end up in jail, but that's an experience I've not yet had, so I'm up for it.

We're thinking of heading to CA for our fall break (Oct 6-10) so I'll keep you up-to-date.

What an awesome family you have! I found your blog via another Ethiopian family blog. We are in process to adopt a little girl from Ethiopia now and we have 1 daughter from Guatemala that is 21 months...I am glad to see someone have 2 girls so close in age...I am thinking that is what will happen to us. Sometimes I still feel like a new mom, but it is always good to see big happy families and yours looks like a lot of fun.
Thanks for having your blog public. It is great to read other people's stories and experiences.

Oh my, you can't help but smile when watching those photos play, they're pure captured joy! My favorite was the one of Ray Ray at the airport though with the "Oh" expression on her face, too cute!

Did you all really fly back with all that coffee? You may have a coffee addiction my friend *wink*

The people of Ethiopia are so beautiful. It is a place I would love to be able to visit someday. These pictures really express what a wonderful experience the trip must have been.

I loved all of the pictures. I would love to go back there some day.

One of the pictures in it was one of the first referral pictures that I received from AGCI. Thanks for helping me fall in love with my daughter.
