The Twelve Days of Sickness


On the first day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the second day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the third day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the fourth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the fifth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And partridge in a pear tree.

On the sixth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Six different antibiotics,
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the seventh day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Seven people feeling icky,
Six antibiotics,
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the eighth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Eight cans of Lysol,
Seven people feeling icky,
Six antibiotics,
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the ninth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Nine party invitations declined,
Eight cans of Lysol,
Seven people feeling icky,
Six antibiotics,
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the tenth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Ten sleepless nights,
Nine party invitations declined,
Eight cans of Lysol,
Seven people feeling icky,
Six antibiotics,
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the eleventh day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Eleven shopping days left,
Ten sleepless nights,
Nine party invitations declined,
Eight cans of Lysol,
Seven people feeling icky,
Six antibiotics,
Five sick babies
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the twelfth day of sickness,
My true love sent to me
Multiple infections for Michael,
Eleven shopping days left,
Ten sleepless nights,
Nine party invitations declined,
Eight cans of Lysol,
Seven people feeling icky,
Six antibiotics,
Five sick babies,
Four ear infections,
Three coughing children,
Two stuffy noses,
And a partridge in a pear tree!

Even in the depths of sickness, those creative juices are still leaking out!!! Better those juices leaking, then other gooey juices flowin'!!! :)

Ok, I laughed after I saw this post! We were obviously thinking along the same line, and both had ear infections on the mind!
