Happy Readoption Day!

What a happy day! Today we stood in the same courtroom where Jackie became our legal son and rejoiced in Elianna Ray's readoption. I didn't think I'd get so emotional about this formality, but it made me weep with joy!

Congrats!!!
That has to be a great feeling. I was adopted 40 years ago and just found my natural mother this year. I will finally meet her in 2 weeks. I have been posting about it a bit on my blog. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Congratulations Hausam family. We just completed our readoption of Kidus on June 6 so we missed you by just a couple days. We have the same pictures with the same judge! It is amazing to know that Kidus is above and beyond our son now. I also didn't think it would be a big deal because it was just a formality but it hit us as well!
