What a fun night!
I must admit that there were more than a few cheaters (including me) this year... wildly abandoning all gingerbread house making rules and running amok with power tools and glue guns... all for a house that would stay standing! Very very naughty, but it worked!
Thanks, OCEAN families, for a blessed and wonderful evening together. We are so thankful for your friendship!

AWESOME pictures! And I can see why it took you guys so long to decorate - the house looks so festive and warm and fun!
Don't those kits just stink!!! They just don't work!!
It looks like a blast!!
Thanks, Lori! I actually didn't finish the big tree and mantle until the day after! Crazy... With two little tree destroyers running around I just couldn't keep up!
Really? You don't like the kits? Have you ever tried the one from Sur La Table? Do you make your own? You are amazing!
Looks like fun! We built our gingerbread house last weekend and while my husband was quite an impressive frosting architect, now I know the secret for making it look like the box--power tools! The picture of you with the glue gun is a hoot!
Merry Christmas!
